The holidays are fast approaching and chances are you are going to be in need of either a Christmas hostess gift, corporate gift or a holiday gift for someone that seems to have everything. Many people also need gifts for people like their office gift exchange, housekeepers or other service providers and it is always difficult to find a gift that doesn’t look cheap while you don’t spend a lot of money.

More people than not are coffee lovers and some even coffee addicts, and a welcome present and my personal favorite is a coffee gift basket. You can build your own custom basket by using hand-picked items or you can find one of many gourmet coffee gift baskets pre-made. Either way, you are sure to put a smile on the face of the recipient. This practical gift is not only a great holiday gift, but also make a great gift idea for any special occasion.

A nice fresh brewed cup of coffee goes down so well during the cold winter season. A coffee gift basket can be very inexpensive to put together, or if you want a higher end gourmet gift it is perfect as well. For the less expensive option, you can shop for sample sizes of several different coffee blends at just about any coffee specialty store. Select different coffee flavors for more variety.

Although I believe purchasing the actual coffee beans instead of ground coffee, is the way to go as you ultimately get a fresher cup of coffee. But you will need to consider whether the recipient has a coffee grinder or not. However, if you wanted to go for the more expensive coffee gift basket, then you may want to add a coffee grinder to the basket. But again, if you would like to save some money and go a less expensive route then choosing a selection of one cup coffee sample sizes are much more appropriate and offer variety.

Products to Include in a Coffee Gift Basket

Besides just including coffee in a coffee gift basket, you can also include items like coffee mugs, coffee flavorings, dark chocolate, and other coffee related items. There are also plenty of food items that go well with coffee. If you are a baker, then make some biscotti or cookies to include. Even if you don’t bake, you can purchase these from a bakery and include them for the recipient to enjoy. As mentioned dark chocolate is a perfect pair to a good cup of coffee and a nice addition to any gift basket. Adding any of these food items to a coffee gift basket is a wonderful idea.

Still stuck for ideas for your gift basket? Try including books, ornaments and even blankets to the coffee gift basket. It all depends on how much money you would like to spend.

If you are having a hard time finding the perfect gift for that hard to buy for person, then a themed gift basket is a great starting point. Particularly, a coffee gift basket would be appreciated by just about anyone on your list!
